| | RARE TO FIND! POWERHOUSE. like to own one in the near future :) though it wasn't on the DOJ list of safety approved handguns in CA. Perfect slick and style. Go find a private person who owns this gun. hahaha!
IonFusion also lends itself to some pretty interesting patterns--including the tiger striping on my test gun. By varying the surface finish or texture, it's possible to get unusual designs, as witnessed by the tigerish gold beauty on these pages.
The striping carries on through all the components--even smaller ones such as the takedown latch, slide stop and safety. Now, if you like understatement, this probably isn't the finish for you. But if you want a real showstopper, this is just your kitty.
In the past, gold-finished guns were generally not owned as shooters as real gold plating is easily rubbed off with excessive handling. Not so the Desert Eagle Tiger. I went through a couple of boxes of .50 AE ammo without any noticeable wear, and external cleaning required just a simple wipe-down and light oiling.
